  • How does Genoapay work  ?

Genoapay gives you the ability to convert any purchase into a 10 week instalment plan so you can pay for what you need over time with no interest or additional cost. You need either a Visa or Master Card to use Genoapay and we take the first instalment when you commit to a purchase either in store or online. We take instalments on the agreed plan until you have finished paying all of your instalments.     

 

  • Who Can Use Genoapay ?

Anyone with a Visa or Master Card we also offer direct debit but you need a credit card to join

 

  • WHAT HAPPENS if I MISS A PAYMENT ? 

We understand that this might happen so Genoapay will call, txt and email you to arrange an alternative method of payment or reschedule a new payment to take place.  There is a $10 missed payment & variation fee charged to your account as soon as you miss the agreed scheduled payment.  Please get in touch with us if you think this might happen and we can move the payment date.

  • IS MY INFORMATION SAFE AND SECURE ?

Genoapay will only every use Payment Card industry Data Security Standard (PCIDSS) level 1 payment processors which is  the highest global standard of payment information security. Genoapay also treats your personal information in accordance with the New Zealand Privacy Act 1993. Please read our Privacy Policy. 

 

  • MY Credit Card Expires Soon  ?

If your credit card expires before your last instalment is due to be processed then you will need to use an alternative card. 

 

  • Can i change the day of my INSTALMENT and Frequency?

Yes you can choose to pay on any day you like. Genoapay allows people to increase the frequency of payments for example from Monthly to Weekly. Unfortunately you can't decrease the frequency of payments. 

 

  • WHAT WILL I SEE ON MY BANK OR CREDIT CARD STATEMENT ?

Genoapay works with a number of payments providers and direct debit initiators who provide the secure platforms to keep your information safe.  The Business you are purchasing from will decide which payment processor they will use to process transactions and this will determine what you will see on your bank or credit card statements. When you start a payment plan we will also let you know who your business uses.  

 

  • What Credit Cards can i USE ?

Genoapay only accepts Visa and Mastercard  

 

  • What do i do if my Credit Card gets stolen  ?

1) Contact your Credit Card Company or Issuing Bank as fast as possible:

2) Contact Genoapay info@genoapay.com and we will ask you to go through a secure process to load a new payment method to continue your plan
